Mizoram Election News -Scheduled for November 7, this year, Mizoram is preparing to hold elections for all 40 members of the state's Legislative Assembly. The announcement of election results is slated for December 3. Candidates have until October 20 to file their nominations, and the scrutiny of nominations will occur on the following day. Candidates have until October 23 to withdraw their nominations. The current term of the 40-member Mizoram assembly concludes on December 17. With the declaration of poll dates, the Model Code of Conduct is now in effect.
