'Going To Be A Good Day': Carlos Alcaraz Mocks Wimbledon Crowd Ahead Of Euro Finals, Gets Booed

Carlos Alcaraz thought he could get away by mocking Wimbledon crowd for upcoming Euro 2024 final between England and Spain, but he was proved wrong.

Spanish tennis ace Carlos Alcaraz continued his dominant march at Wimbledon 2024 as he beat Daniil Medvedev by coming back from a set down to advance to his second Wimbledon Final with a chance to defend his title. 

The Wimbledon final will take place on Sunday July 14, 2024, the same day Spain will face England in the Euro 2024 final. Carlos Alcaraz in his post match reaction mocked English fans at Wimbledon regarding the final and quickly got booed.

Carlos Alcaraz gets Booed by Wimbledon fans 

Carlos Alcaraz came back from a set down to beat Daniil Medvedev 6-7 (1), 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 in the Wimbledon semi finals at Centre Court and advanced into the finals. 

In his post match interview at Centre Court, Carlos Alcaraz was quick to remind the Wimbledon crowd about the Euro 2024 final where his country Spain will face off against England.  

“It's going to be a very good day for Spanish people because there will also be the Euro Cup..”, mocked Carlos Alcaraz suggesting Spain were going to beat England. 

As Carlos Alcaraz suggested Spain were going to beat England, the English fans at Wimbledon started booing the Spaniard.

As soon as Carlos heard the boos he changed his tune and said, “I didn't say, Spain will win, it will just be really fun for Spaniards," laughed Carlos Sainz. 

A Wimbledon Final and a Euro Final on the same day 

This Sunday is going to be a treat for sports enthusiasts as both the Wimbledon final and the Euro 2024 final will be on the same day. 

At Wimbledon Carlos Sainz will be looking to defend his crown against the winner of Semi Final 2 between Novak Djokovic and Lorenzo Musetti. While in Euros the best team of the tournament in Spain will face off against the most resilient team of the tournament in England.

Sunday promises to be a thrilling affair. The last time a Wimbledon and Euro finals were on the same day was eight years ago back in 2016 when Andy Murray won at Centre Court to claim his second Wimbledon crown and in Euros, Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal beat France 1-0.
