Spain vs England: Lamine Yamal Breaks Another Record! Becomes Youngest Player To Start Euro Final
As Spain and England lock horns in Euro 2024 final, Lamine Yamal has become the youngest player ever to play a major international final.
Spain and England are just about to face each other in the final of Euro 2024 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. Ahead of the finals all the eyes were going to be on Spain’s teenage sensation on the flank Lamine Yamal.
As expected Lamine Yamal is in the starting lineup for Spain vs England in the Euro 2024 final. With this the 17 year old has broken another record and has now become the youngest ever player to start in the final of a European Championship.
Lamine Yamal’s Record Breaking Euros
Lamine Yamal has had a sensational Euro 2024 tournament for Spain. At just 17 years of age, the Barcelona winger has really shown out and impressed all of Europe with his talent and skill.
Not only did Lamine Yamal become the youngest ever player to start in a European Championship, he is also the youngest player to ever score at the Euros and the youngest player to ever score in the Semi Final of Euros.
Lamine Yamal put Spain on level terms in the semi final against France after a splendid strike from outside the box in the first half. From then on Spain didn’t look back and went on to win the game 2-1 to advance to the final of Euro 2024.
In the final against England, Lamine Yamal will hope to become the youngest ever player to win the European Championship as he would want to bring the trophy back home to Spain.
A Mammoth Clash in Berlin
When Spain and England face each other at the Olympiastadion in Berlin that would meant the most dominant team in the tournament in Spain going up against the most resilient team in the tournament in England.
