In the wake of Pakistan's humiliating defeat in the 4th T20I against England, self-proclaimed Pakistan cricket expert Farid Khan has publicly apologized to former England captain Michael Vaughan. Pakistan suffered a crushing loss to England by 7 wickets, prompting Khan to reflect on his earlier critique of Vaughan's earlier comments.

‘Even a Ranji Trophy team could defeat us’: So-called Pakistan expert
Before the series commenced, Michael Vaughan had suggested that England players would have been better off staying in India to participate in the IPL playoffs rather than returning to England for the series against Pakistan. Vaughan's remarks were perceived as a jibe at Pakistan. This comment had not sat well with a few in Pakistan including Farid Khan, who had been vocal in his criticism of Vaughan at the time.
However, the dismal performance of the Pakistan team in the series led Farid Khan to reassess his stance. In a candid video uploaded to social media, Farid Khan issued an apology to Michael Vaughan. "Hey, Michael Vaughan. I'm sorry, I apologize! You were right and I'm embarrassed. England players should have played IPL playoffs and final," Farid Khan confessed on Twitter.
In his apology, Farid Khan did not hold back in his criticism of the current state of Pakistan cricket. "Even a Ranji Trophy team could defeat us, Delhi Capitals or Punjab Kings will win one-sided against this Pakistan team. I'm worried about our matches vs Canada & USA in the World Cup. This is the worst period in Pakistan cricket in years," he added.
Amusingly, Michael Vaughan accepted Farid Khan's apology. Vaughan reshared the post saying, “Apology accepted,” accompanied by a thumbs-up emoticon.
