LeBron James Returns To Los Angeles Lakers, Agrees To $104 Million Deal For 2 Years

The uncertainty around LeBron James future is coming to an end as amidst free agency rumours, James has agreed to extend his stay at the Los Angeles Lakers by penning new contract. 

According to the latest WojBomb, LeBron James has agreed to a two year maximum contract worth $104 Million with the Los Angeles Lakers to extend his stay in the league.

As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, LeBron James did not test the free agency market and has agreed to start his 22nd season in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers. The two year extension will be worth $104 Million breaking the fee to $52 Million per year.

Additionally, there is a no trade clause in his contract which means that LeBron James is likely to end his legendary career with the Lakers. 

A year by year contract 

There was a lot of speculation on whether LeBron James would continue in the NBA or will he retire. Despite signing a two year contract with the Lakers, it is still not confirmed whether LeBron James would retire or continue playin next year. 

According to Woj, LeBron has agreed on a 1-to-1 contract which means that he will decide to enter the second year of his contract in free agency of 2025. 

Additionally LeBron James alongside Bradley Beal are the only NBA players in the league currently with a no trade clause.
