BREAKING: Jammu and Kashmir Govt Sacks 6 Employees Over Narco-Terror Link
Sources revealed that the sacked employees were involved in the narco terrorism that was being operated by Hizbul Mujahideen terror group.
Jammu: In a crackdown against narco-terror network, the Jammu and Kashmir government terminated the services of six government employees.
According to sources, the dismissed employees include a head constable Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, as well as four constables, Khalid Hussian Shah, Rahmat Shah cops, Irshad Ahmad Chalkoo and Saif Din and Nazam Din, a teacher.
The employees have been sacked under Article 311 of the Constitution. The Article's section 2 subsection C deals with those posing a threat to national sovereignty while being in govt service.
Sources revealed that the sacked employees were involved in the narco terrorism that was being operated by Hizbul Mujahideen
terror group. The money that was earned by the narco terror network was being used for the revival of the terror group in the Kashmir valley.
This action is part of Jammu and Kashmir government’s drive to ensure that those who are supporting terrorism in the valley are thrown out of the system.
Earlier in July also, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had terminated four government employees from service, invoking Article 311 of the Constitution, as a part of zero-tolerance policy against narco-terror.
The dismissed employees included two police constables, Mushtaq Ahmad Pir and Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone, as well as Baazil Ahmad Mir, a Junior Assistant in the School Education Department, and Mohd Zaid Shah, a Village Level Worker in the Rural Development Department.
It was learnt that law enforcement and intel agencies had reportedly gathered substantial evidence against these individuals which established their links with various illicit activities supporting terror outfits.
