Producer Aswini Dutt is currently basking in the success of his recently produced movie Kalki 2898 AD. Recently, veteran actor Radha Ravi has made an allegation against Ashwini Dutt that he was excluded from a movie due to caste-based discrimination, as per a report in Indiaglitz.

According to a report in Indiaglitz, Radha Ravi made the allegation during a recent interview where he opened up about how he was removed from the 1986 movie Kaliyuga Pandavulu. The Iraivi actor narrated the whole story starting from how Aswini approached him for the project and after signing the deal he asked his caste, breaking their deal. He said that Aswini Dutt approached him intending to sign him for a role in his movie. Ravi, who was well-acquainted with K. Raghavendra Rao, told the producer that his decision was subject to Raghavendra Rao's approval.

However, he didn't wait and Aswini instructed his assistant to go ahead with the formalities to bring Ravi on board. Things took a "surprising" turn for Ravi after the producer asked him about his caste. After knowing that the actor might belong to the Balija Naidu caste, he reportedly called off all engagements, without prior information. This left the actor perplexed as he was not given any reason as to why he was being dropped from the movie.

Aswini Dutt is yet to react to the allegations made by actor Radha Ravi.
