Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya, who were holidaying in Europe, met with an unfortunate incident when their passports and around ₹10 lakh cash were stolen in Italy. The actor couple sought the help of the Indian embassy, which issued them emergency passports to return to India. On Tuesday, they were snapped exiting the airport premises in Mumbai with their luggage and happily interacted with the paparazzi.

In the photos shared by a paparazzo, Divyanka, dressed in a black outfit, and Vivek in an all-white ensemble, can be seen coming out of the Mumbai airport. They bore a bright smile on their faces and greeted the paparazzi stationed at the venue.

In a viral video, a paparazzo can be heard asking about the incident to which she replied, "Yaar bohot lambi kahani hai, do shabdo mai nahi bataya jayega. (It is a long story won't be able to summarise right now).

On boarding the plane from Italy, Vivek and Divyanka shared a joint post raising a toast as they were on their way back home. "When little things become big and big things become little. Cheers to the brighter side of life. What do YOU want to raise a toast to today?" read the caption.

Vivek and Divyanka's car was broken into at a 'secure location'

The couple went to Europe to celebrate their wedding anniversary and have been sharing pictures of the beautiful locations they visited. However, while exploring Italy, they met with an unfortunate incident. Vivek posted a video on his Instagram stories showing a car with broken windows, announcing the news of a burglary. During their stay in Florence, they were robbed. The thieves took items worth ₹10 lakh, including their passports and cash. The couple asked for help to return to India.

After this, they were informed to collect their emergency passport from the Italian embassy, while one of their "dear friends" helped them with the money. Divyanka updated her fans by sharing a post on her Instagram Stories expressing gratitude. "Dear all, thank you for your immense love and support. It truly means a lot! After losing so much, thankfully, the much-needed love is not lost! Giving our loved ones and the concerned people an update as we are unable to reply to everyone personally," an excerpt from the post read.
