BTS Jin To Be The Torchbearer At 2024 Paris Olympics, ARMYs Calls Him ‘Pride Of Korea’

BTS Jin has recently returned from mandatory military service. The eldest member of the band boy seems to remain busy for some time now. Reports claim that the pop singer will bear the torch for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, scheduled for July 27. South Korea will reportedly send 142 athletes to compete in 21 sports for the Olympics and Jin is set to represent the country on the international forum. 

BTS Jin’s agency responds to report of him taking part in Paris Olympics 

On June 3, reports surfaced that BTS member Jin will partake in the 2024 Olympics being held in Paris. The role of the pop singer would be to carry the torch which brings the message of ‘harmony’ and ‘peace’. The iconic Olympic torch relay precedes every edition of the Games, symbolising unity and sporting spirit. Jin’s agency has also reacted to the reports about his role in the sporting event. 

HYPE, the agency of Jin, responded to the news and told Sports Chosun, that all information regarding the same will go through International Olympic Committee (IOC) before being made official. The representative said, “We will organize and announce our position on the torch relay soon.”

The news of BTS Jin being a part of the Paris Olympics was met with joy and fevour by his fans (known as ARMY members).
