BTS member Jin has recently opened up about his upcoming solo album. Since his discharge from the military, the K-pop star has been actively involved in various projects. He has now confirmed that a new solo album is in the works and is striving to release it soon. Jin also mentioned his excitement about performing the second verse of Super Tuna at BTS FESTA 2024.

Details about BTS' Jin's upcoming solo album

On July 10, in an exclusive interview with Weverse Magazine Jin revealed plans for his solo album project. He mentioned, "I realised I shouldn’t wait too long to release mine after others have finished theirs, so I'm working quickly to get it completed." Jin shared this while discussing, how other members of the boy band BTS like RM and Jimin released their music projects before their military service. For the unversed, the singer-songwriter returned from the mandatory military service on June 12.

He has confirmed that he is working hard on his new album, so fans can expect new solo music from him soon, following his debut single, The Astronaut, which was released in 2022. In the same interview, the eldest member of BTS also shared that he postponed all other commitments to meet his fans after recently finishing his military service. Jin said, "When I left the army, I put everything on hold to see my fans. I informed my family and friends in advance that I needed to meet ARMY, and asked them not to organise any celebrations for my discharge until after this week. People told me, 'You just got out—you should take a break. Let’s meet up.' I got out on Wednesday and didn’t make one plan until after Sunday. All that other stuff could wait. Seeing my fans is my top priority—I have to show my gratitude before I do anything else, I think. No question about it. It’s always been that way, so now it’s what everybody’s come to expect. ARMY supports me, and they make me happy. They’re incredibly important to me, so it just makes sense that I’d think to put my time with them first."
