Jaya Bachchan, who is also an MP, was asked by ANI outside the Parliament about the budget, which was presented yesterday by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharama during the Budget Session of Parliament. To this, she responded, "I have no reaction; ye koi budget hai reaction karney wala? It is just drama. Promises that are kept on paper will never be implemented." For the unversed, Jaya Bachchan serves as a member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from the  Samajwadi Party.

On July 11, Jaya Bachchan, with kids Abhishek and Shweta, visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Varanasi. ANI shared a series of photos of the Bachchan family that shows them adorning traditional ensembles. Jaya can be seen in a yellow kurta set, while her daughter adorns a red kurta, and Abhishek in a white kurta set with a black jacket.

Meanwhile, on the work front, she was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, co-starring Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra and Alia Bhatt. The film received a positive response from both audiences and critics. She is yet to announce her next project.
