Katy Perry Spills The Beans On Wedding Preparations With Fiance Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom reportedly started dating in 2016 but in 2017 they split only to reunite in February 2018. A year later on February 14, 2019, the couple got engaged and welcomed their daughter on August 26, 2020. In a recent interview, the singer revealed that she and Bloom were planning to get married in 2020 when she was pregnant with Daisy Dove but due to the COVID pandemic, it got cancelled. Now, once again, the couple is planning their wedding and this time it is reportedly going to a lavish.

Katy Perry offers insight into her lavish wedding to Orlando Bloom

In an interview with Heart Radio Breakfast, the Roar singer revealed that she is getting married to Bloom soon. "I was going to get married and then Covid happened and now I have a really large credit at a venue that I am going to use,” reported The Mirror US. The singer revealed that she is going to change her original dress, which was designed keeping in mind her baby bump. "I was pregnant then, so the dress is different now. We are going to rework the whole thing," she said.

She further shared that wedding festivities will not conclude with the couple exchanging vows as she has big plans for her 40th birthday in October, as well. The actress will reveal the wedding date and other details later.

Bloom, known for his roles in movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, proposed to the singer over a dinner on Valentine's Day in 2019. A report in Hello quoted Katy saying, "I thought we were going to see some kind of art after the meal, but we boarded a helicopter. We had champagne and the ring box was in his jacket pocket."
