John Abraham Goes Off After Being Questioned On Doing 'Similar Action Films' At Vedaa Trailer Launch
Irked by a remark about his films being repetitive and limited to the action genre, the Pathaan actor seemingly lost his cool and went off.
John Abraham attended the trailer launch event of Vedaa in Mumbai and fielded questions from the media regarding the upcoming film. Irked by a remark about his films being repetitive and limited to the action genre, the Pathaan actor seemingly lost his cool and blasted a journalist for saying "kuch naya kijiye na" (do something new).
John upset at a question about his repetitive filmography
At the trailer launch event, when a media person pointed out how John Abraham has been constantly doing films in the action genre which appear repetitive, John got upset. "Have you seen this film?" John questioned the person mentioning Vedaa. When the answer came out in a negative, John said, "Can I call out bad questions and idiots. This is a very intense performance of mine. Its a different film. Watch the film and judge me. Then I am all yours and if you are wrong I am going to turn you around and tear you apart."
Mere saath koi controversy nahi: John warns paparazzi
John Abraham was last seen on the big screen in Pathaan, which released in January last year. Since then, he has been busy with the shoot of Vedaa and soon-to-follow Tehran with Manushi Chhillar. At the trailer launch event of Vedaa, John was seen getting in a candid chat with the paparazzi, which ended up with the actor warning them to not fuel any controversy surrounding him.
"Bohot time baad tum log ke saamne aaya hoon. Thoda mujhe saas lene do aur har cheez record mat karna. Maine sabka chehra dekha hai, main bhi dekhta hoon sabko. Kuch controversy nahi. Mere saath koi controversy nahi. Chalo abhi camera niche karo (I have come before you after a long time. Let me breathe and don’t record everything. I have seen all your faces. No controversies with me. Put the cameras down for now).”
