GATE 2025 Registration Schedule OUT; GOAPS Portal To Open on August 24

GATE 2025 registration window will open at GOAPS portal on August 24, 2024. The last date to register without a late fee is September 26, 2024.

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has announced the dates for registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering (GATE) 2025. As per the schedule, GATE 2025 registration window will open at GOAPS portal on August 24, 2024. The last date to register without a late fee is September 26, 2024. The GOAPS portal will be opened till October 7 for candidates paying late fees. GATE 2025 will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

Closing Date of REGULAR online registration/ application process (Without Late Fee)- 26th September 2024
Closing Date of EXTENDED online registration/ application process (With Late Fee)  -  7th October 2024
GATE 2025 Examinations  - 1st February 2025, 2nd February 2025, 15th February 2025, 16th February 2025

GATE 2025

The GATE 2025 exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) for 30 different test papers conducted during both forenoon and afternoon sessions. 

"GATE 2025 will be conducted for 30 test papers. The following table shows the list of papers with codes. Please click the Paper/Code to download the syllabus. A candidate is allowed to appear either in one or up to two test papers," the official website reads.

All test papers under GATE 2025 will be conducted in English. A candidate can apply for either one or two test papers out of the combinations as listed. The GATE scores will be valid for three years from the date the results are announced.

IIT Roorkee is organizing GATE 2025.The exam is conducted jointly by IISc and seven IITs: IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee, under the National Coordination Board (NCB) – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.

Successful candidates of GATE are eligible to apply for admissions in various master's and direct doctoral level programs in the disciplines of engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts, and humanities. They can also avail themselves of financial aid within the MoE-supported institutions and other agencies of the government.
