Delhi Floods: Journalists Enjoy Drinks In Flooded Press Club, Social Media Reacts

Amid Heavy rainfall in Delhi a viral photo shows a group of journalists at the Press Club of India relaxing with drinks.

Delhi Rains: Heavy rainfall has caused significant disruption in parts of Delhi, leading to severe waterlogging, extensive traffic jams, and excessive flooding in low-lying areas. Amid the heavy rainfall in the national capital, a group of journalists was seen relaxing with drinks at the flooded Press Club of India.

Hemant Rajaura, a journalist shared on X has crossed more than 1,70,500 views and over a thousand likes.

“This is the scene of The Press Club of India in Delhi 5,” wrote Hemant Rajaura while sharing the photo on X.

In the viral photo, a group of men is seen sitting calmly on their chairs and enjoying drinks while the entire restaurant is submerged in knee-deep water. In the background, waiters and other people can be seen moving in the flooded restaurant with their trousers rolled up. Some furniture has been stacked to prevent water damage.

Many social media users were surprised by the viral photo, and others found it funny and shared their jokes about it.

One user commented, “This happens when you have too many XUVs outside your building when it's raining,” 

“Kya mast log hai jinki party band nahi ho rahi,” another added.
