India gives 'Kanishka' reply as Canada Parliament honours Khalistani terrorist Nijjar
The Canadian Parliament observed a moment of silence on June 18 to mark the one-year anniversary of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar's death. Nijjar, a Canadian citizen, was shot dead in Surrey, British Columbia, on June 18, 2023. Nijjar had been designated as a terrorist by India's National Investigation Agency. Sending a clear message, the Indian Consulate General in Canada's Vancouver announced a memorial service to pay tribute to the 329 victims of the Khalistani bombing of Air India Kanishka flight in 1985.
