Rockstar Games releases Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer; Check new characters, release date

GTA 6: Rockstar Games unveiled the very first peek at "Grand Theft Auto 6" this week, dropping a short trailer that got gamers buzzing. This game is being termed as the next big thing in the gaming industry, following the massive success of GTA V back in 2013. Due to a purported trailer leak on microblogging website X, the much anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer was officially released on Tuesday, several hours before the schedule.

The new game is set in Vice City, a place that is based on the looks and references of Miami city. The trailer stars Lucia, a female character who seems ready for some serious crime adventures with her partner. We don't know the whole story yet, but the trailer's soundtrack is "Long is a Long Road" by Tom Petty.

The trailer hit YouTube and zoomed past 11 million views in just a couple of hours. That's how hyped up people are about this game.

Plenty of the leaks that started moving around about the open-world game GTA 6 are confirmed by the trailer, and Rockstar Games later released a press release stating that the game will be available in 2025 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S. To the dismay of many PC gaming enthusiasts, there was no word on when or if the game would be released on PC.

Rockstar Games had to step in when the trailer leaked. They said, “Our trailer has leaked so please watch the real thing on YouTube" 

Just prior to this, a gameplay video of GTA 6 went viral on TikTok, teasing gamers with a sneak peek at what's coming and causing a stir in the gaming world.

In this trailer, Lucia, the game's first female lead, is shown in a prison. But later, she's out and about, robbing banks and causing chaos in Vice City with her boyfriend. It's giving off major Bonnie and Clyde vibes.

The hype is real, and fans can't wait to get their hands on GTA 6. The trailer has set the stage for what could be an epic gaming experience, and the excitement in the gaming community is at an all-time high.
