The tennis competition at the Paris Olympics is inching close towards the end as the Men's Singles tournament has the competitors officially named for the summit clash. The competition at Stade Roland Garros has been nothing less than exhilarating as the iconic clay court brings an added thrill to the competition, making it tough for the competitors. Two of the finest tennis players have made their way into the final as the World No. 1 and World No. 2 have secured their spots after winning the quarterfinals against their respective opponents and the ultimate showdown is set.

Wimbledon Final Re-Match in Place at 2024 Olympics Tennis Final as Djokovic & Alcaraz Aim for Gold in Paris
Court Phillipe-Chatrier at Stade Roland Garrod will feature the re-match of the 2024 Wimbledon Final as Serbia's Novak Djokovic and Spain's Carlos Alcaraz will lock horns against each other. Djokovic defeated Italian Tennis star Lorenzo Musetti in the semifinal of the men's singles event at the Paris Olympics. On the other hand, Alcaraz defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime. to reach the final. The ones who lost in the semifinal will feature in the bronze medal match, while Djokovic and Alcaraz will lock horns for the ultimate gold.

After defeating Musetti in the semifinal, Djokovic expressed his joy, saying that he had been waiting for the moment for the past 20 years.
"I have been waiting for this for almost 20 years. I've played four Olympic games. This is my fifth, and I've never passed the semi-finals. I lost three semi-finals in my first four Olympic games. I managed to overcome this big hurdle. I must be honest and say that I was thinking about all the semi-finals that I lost," Djokovic said in the on-court interview after the match.

Carlos Alcaraz has a chance to make history at the Olympics. With a solid win streak, the odds may be leaning towards the Spanish tennis star. On the contrary, Djokovic has run into a problem with his knee which had undergone a surgical procedure. Despite the aggravation, Novak flew like a breeze when he faced off against Lorenzo and it looked like the injury wasn't bothering him anymore.
Stade Roland Garros will be hosting the ultimate showdown for the gold medal match tomorrow. The excitement will be over the top.
