With Rafael Czichos equalise the score in the 73rd minute, Chicago Fire valiantly battled back. Inter Miami, however, would not be denied when Jordi Alba sealed the home team's victory by finding the back of the net in the 75th minute. Inter Miami's tenacity proved crucial in this exciting meeting at Chase Stadium, with eighteen shots against Chicago's fourteen.

Inter Miami make an emotional post about Argentine legend Lionel Messi 

Inter Miami recently paid a moving homage to Lionel Messi, honouring one year of his joining the organisation. With an ankle injury from earlier this summer's play for Argentina, the Argentine attacker is out right now.

Having left PSG, Messi moved from Europe to the United States and signed with Inter Miami on July 21, 2023. At 37, he provided major influence to the MLS on and off the pitch. His first performance was remarkable as he defeated Cruz Azul last-minute with a free-kick.

Inter Miami thanks Messi for his contributions since his free agency arrival on social media. The official X page of the club posted a moving video documenting Messi's path and successes throughout the last year.

The homage to Lionel Messi closely follows another tribute by the club, in which he was recognised as the most decorated footballer in history. Before their game against Chicago Fire, Messi received a framed keepsake displaying his 45 titles in professional competitions.

Messi's impact has enticed other prominent players to join the Inter Miami endeavour, including former Barcelona colleagues Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez, and Jordi Alba. In addition, talented young players such as Federico Redondo and Diego Gomez have relocated to Miami with a strong desire to play with the renowned attacker.
