Al-Nassr supporters showed their dismay during a pre-season friendly on Saturday, July 21, when Portuguese side SC Faredse held their club to a 1-1 draw. Following Portugal's quarter-final departure at Euro 2024, Cristiano Ronaldo was still on vacation with his family, hence he missed the game.

Following yet another 1-1 draw against Louletano DC on July 14, this meeting was Al-Nassr's second pre-season friendly. The Knights of Najd tried, but they couldn't win; freshly promoted Primeira Liga team Farense managed to equalise.

Al-Nassr battled to rediscover their flow while Ronaldo was away. In the 33rd minute, Anderson Talisca scored the opening goal; nevertheless, Faredse's Rafael Barbosa equalised with a penalty just four minutes in the following.

Al-Nassr had seven shots on target, compared to Farense's six, but they couldn't break the tie. On social media, supporters expressed their annoyance; and uploaded on X:
