Mike Tyson provides first update after medical emergency, trolls Jake Paul in latest post

Mike Tyson has provided an update on his health after suffering a mid-flight medical emergency, reassuring fans that the heavyweight champion is back to his best. Tyson, who is 57-year-old, experienced nausea and dizziness due to an ulcer flare-up while on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Monday. However, he quickly recovered and took to social media to update his followers.

Mike Tyson breaks silence on medical emergency

The medical emergency occurred when Mike Tyson began feeling unwell during the flight. The boxing legend has reassured his fans, stating he is now fully recovered.

"Now feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul," Tyson wrote on X. His post drew over 500 comments in less than 20 minutes and garnered 186,000 impressions, with most fans sending well wishes to the boxing legend.

Despite his recent health scare, Mike Tyson remains confident about his upcoming fight with Jake Paul. The former champion, who will be 58 by the time he faces Jake Paul, humorously downplayed the need for peak fitness to defeat the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

When and were to watch Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul?

The event, which is scheduled to take place on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, will stream live on Netflix and will also feature a co-main event between women's lightweight champion Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. 

The fight card also features an Indian boxer - Neeraj Goyat. Goyat is a three-time WBC Asia titleholder (2015, 2016, and 2017) and boasts a record of 18 wins from 24 fights, including 8 KOs.
