New Delhi: Sunita Williams' return to Earth has been delayed, igniting fears of her safety. However, American space agency NASA has confirmed that Sunita Williams is safe and along with her crew mates and will discuss their mission on space in a LIVE address on July 10 at 8:30 PM.

Here's how you can watch it:

The crew's address will be live streamed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration on NASA+, NASA Television, the NASA app, YouTube, and the agency's website.

According to reports the agency is working in order to bring the astronauts back to earth.

The space agency and Boeing, while announcing the delay in a statement, said, “NASA and Boeing leadership are adjusting the return to Earth of the Starliner Crew Flight Test spacecraft with agency astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams from the International Space Station. The move off Wednesday, June 26, deconflicts Starliner's undocking and landing from a series of planned International Space Station spacewalks while allowing mission teams time to review propulsion system data.”

Recently, Boeing CEO David Calhoun faced intense questioning from US Senators in his first congressional testimony, as lawmakers scrutinized the company's safety culture and transparency, seeking assurances and answers on its commitment to accountability and passenger safety.

When will the astronauts return to earth?

The mission which was initially supposed to be of just 10 days has been delayed to a month due to the number of technical glitches in the Boeing Starliner. Astronaut Sunita Williams and her crew mates arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on June 6. Initially, her return was scheduled for June 14, but technical issues due which the spacecraft forced a delay to June 26. Unfortunately, the return was postponed again, and NASA has yet to announce a new return date.

Who is Sunita Williams?

Sunita Williams is an Indian origin astronaut, a Navy officer for the United States. She also holds a record previously, for most spacewalks by a woman (seven) and most spacewalk time for a woman.

Williams has been actively contributing to the preparation of the International Space Station (ISS) for upcoming missions by disassembling and emptying racks, as reported by NASA.
