For individuals part of Gen Z, aromatherapy is a simple yet effective way to reduce stress through the use of essential oils that are plant extracts.

The world has gone fast and Gen Z is driven by technology which forces them to find a balance between their digital and normal lives. Aromatherapy, an ancient practice involving the use of essential oils for healing purposes, hasn't been completely explored especially by the younger demographic.

Aromatherapy techniques that could calm those rising stress level

Stress and anxiety relief: Lavender, chamomile, bergamot and other essential oils have soothing qualities. Smelling through nose such fragrances may significantly reduce pressure level resulting into tranquility for Generation Z, who are grappling with burden of cramming before exams, identity crises, and career ambiguities.

Enhanced focus and concentration: Among them include rosemary, peppermint as well as lemon oils that improve focus and enhance mental clarity abilities. That can be particularly helpful when having study sessions or even in working places so as to improve productivity and cognitive performance.

Improved sleep quality: Sleep disorders among young people have been growing due to an increased screen time, irregular schedules etc., however essential oils like lavender and cedarwood can help them to sleep better. Even a few drops on a pillow or in a diffuser at bedtime can create an environment conducive to sleep.
