Radhika Merchant's Pre-Wedding Gown Had Anant Ambani's Love Letter Printed On It

Radhika Merchant-Anant Ambani's Mediterranean pre-wedding celebrations heightened their 1,200 guests sense of luxury, live music, and heartwarming tributes. The four-day celebratory affair saw the couple sailing across the Mediterranean with Bollywood A-listers, industry leaders, and their close-knit circle, all while showcasing a series of unforgettable fashion statements.

The daughter of one the richest men in India, Radhika showed up at the first event of Day 1 known as 'A Starry Night', adorned in a Robert Wu dress that displayed her fiancé's love letter, given to her on Merchant's 22nd birthday, printed on the chiffon.

“He wrote me this long letter for my birthday about what I mean to him,” Radhika told Vogue. “I wanted it for posterity—I want to be able to show it to my kids and grandkids, and say that ‘this is what our love was.’” The night ended with a surprise performance by the Backstreet Boys.

Toga Throwback: On the second day, guests were invited for a Roman-themed toga party. In keeping with the theme, Radhika opted for a custom “toga” designed by Grace Ling, featuring a 3D-printed aerospace aluminium breastplate – a nod to her New York City days, where she studied while Anant was at Brown. Guests were treated to a DJ set by David Guetta. The NYC-based designer wanted people to know about haute-couture coming out of US.

Masquerade Ball Magic: Day 3 saw a larger-than-life masquerade ball at a French chateau. Radhika was seen flaunting her custom Versace gown dipped in hues of blue, designed in collaboration with the atelier for a year. She paired her attire with a rare blue opal necklace with diamonds (her birthstone and his) to add a final touch of finesse the look.
