3 Gangsters Involved in Delhi's Burger King Murder Case Shot Dead In Encounter By Police

Delhi Police Crime Branch in a joint operation with the STF of the Haryana police shot dead three notorious gangsters in an encounter in Haryana’s Sonipat.

Sonipat Encounter: The Delhi Police Crime Branch in a joint operation along with the STF of the Haryana police, on Friday, shot dead three notorious gangsters in an encounter in Haryana’s Sonipat. The accused were involved in the sensational murder case at Delhi’s Burger King. According to the information, the Delhi Crime Branch team launched a joint operation with Haryana’s STF team based on secret information in Sonipat. During the operation to nab the accused, the joint police team had to engage in a gun battle with the criminals, during which all three accused were knocked down.

As per claims, several rounds of bullets were fired during the gunfight, which took place in Haryana's Sonipat, between the police team and the three wanted criminals allegedly linked with the Himanshu Bhau criminal gang.

Reports suggest that during the encounter a few police personnel also sustained injuries, who have been admitted to hospital for treatment.

A senior police official stated that the encounter took place on Chhinoli Road in Sonipat’s Kharkhoda Village. The accused have been identified as Ashish alias Lalu, Sunny Kharar and Vicky Ridhana, whose bodies have been preserved at the mortuary of a hospital.  

The police have also recovered 5 sophisticated pistols from the three dead criminals, upon whom a reward of lakhs of rupees were declared by the police. The accused were allegedly involved in demanding ransom in crores from several businessmen in Delhi- NCR.

The three accused were also involved in the sensational murder at a Burger King outlet in West Delhi’s Rajouri Garden area.

Further investigation into the matter is being carried out.
