Chiranjeevi Pushes Airport Staff Member Seeking Selfie With Him Upon Return From Paris Olympics

Chiranjeevi was recently seen in Paris with his family as he attended the ongoing Olympics 2024. The South star even shared pictures with his wife Surekha, son Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni. After snaps of him and his family at the Paris Olympics, another video has surfaced which is now going viral on social media.

Why are netizens miffed with Chiranjeevi?

In the video, some of his fans who seemed to airport staff members were trying to take selfie with him while he was walking. But Chiranjeevi pushed the staff aside when they tried to take a selfie with him. This incident has sparked mixed reactions.

Some netizens were angry at the actor for mistreating his fans, while some supported the actor as they felt that the fans were invading his privacy and trying to take pictures without consent. One user wrote, “Nothing wrong in what he did- people should request a selfie not force one!”. Another user wrote, “I see nothing wrong in his attitude”. “Very rude”, wrote the third social media user.

This is not the first time a South star has landed himself in trouble over such an incident. Recently, Nagarjuna Akkineni was was criticised after his bodyguard pushed one of his fans who seemed to specially-abled. This didn’t go down well with netizens and they even slammed the actor for the same. Later, Nagarjuna took to social media to apologise to his fans.

What’s next for Chiranjeevi?

Chiranjeevi will next be seen in a fantasy film titled Vishwambhara. Apart from Chiranjeevi, the film will also stars Trisha Krishnan and Meenakshi Chaudhary. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on January 10, 2025.

He was last seen in Telugu action film Bhola Shankar in 2023. A remake of 2015 Tamil film Vedalam, the film failed to perform well at the box office. It features Keerthy Suresh, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sushanth.
