On Monday, Shiv Sena legislator Manisha Kayande urged the Mumbai Police Commissioner to immediately shut down the show due to obscenity. Armaan and Kritika's video goes viral

Recently, a video from one of the cameras went viral in which Armaan and Kritika were allegedly involved in a sexual act under the blanket. In the same clip, as the live feed cut to a different camera, some other housemates were seen sitting, seemingly in the same area, and discussing what they were allegedly seeing.

The short clip quickly went viral, with social media users alleging that the couple were getting intimate with each other even as cameras rolled on. In the past, some instances of Bigg Boss contestants getting intimate with each other have surfaced, but it seemed like Armaan and Kritika did cross a line. This prompted Shiv Sena legislator Manisha Kayande to urge the Mumbai Police Commissioner for the immediate closure of Bigg Boss OTT 3 due to obscenity, saying that the OTT show has crossed all limits.

What did Manisha Kayande say in her request to the Police Commissioner

Kayande pointed out that the episode, which aired on July 18, featured housemates engaging in inappropriate acts in front of the camera.

“Even kids watch this show. So this show should be stopped immediately. Strict action should be taken against the producers of this show and the CEO of the broadcasting company by filing a case under cybercrime,” Kayande had said in her statement. Kayande also blamed the actors for trampling social values by crossing all boundaries of family relations.

She said that she will soon meet the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister to demand that OTT also be brought under the purview of the censor board.

Channel says its a 'doctored video'

The makers of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss OTT 3 issued a clarification on Tuesday regarding an 'obscene' viral video of Armaan and Kritika Malik. They stated that the video clip in question has been 'doctored to include obscenity and is fake'.

The makers have initiated action against those responsible for creating and distributing such defamatory content against Bigg Boss OTT and JioCinema.
