Bigg Boss OTT 3: Armaan Malik's First Wife Takes Legal Action Against Trolls

Armaan Malik has been making news after an alleged video of him captured him being intimate with his wife Kritika Malik inside the Bigg Boss house. The makers of the show and Armaan's first wife Payal Malik have both claimed that the video is doctored. Amid this controversy, the content creator and mother of three, has taken legal action against trolls who have targetted their family.

Payal Malik takes legal action against trolls

On July 25, days after the video of Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik went viral on social media, Payal took to her Instagram account to share information herself. Though she never mentioned that incident, she claimed that the amount of people threatening her family has increased and so she will take legal action against them. She noted that she has mentioned many names in her complaint and they will be contacted by the police soon.

Taking to Instagram, Payal recorded a video of herself in which she can be heard saying, “Guys, there has been some trolling going on until now. I have no problem with that. When a person grows, they often face trolling first. However, now I am receiving a lot of threats. To those who are doing this, defaming me or my family, I am here to file a defamation case against you.” Payal, who was evicted from the Bigg Boss house earlier this season concluded by saying, “Whatever happens next, you will have to face the consequences yourselves because you are responsible for this. I have provided the name here. You will receive the notice very soon.”

Payal comments on Armaan and Kritika's viral video

In one of her recent YouTube vlogs, Payal addressed the viral video, saying it was edited. Payal appealed to viewers, saying, “Whoever has shared the video claiming it is Armaan and Kritika’s I would request them with folded hands to stop.” She reiterated that the video is edited and clarified, “Having stayed in the Bigg Boss house, I can confirm there are no lamps like those in the clip.” She added, “The blanket is also different. Anyone familiar with the house will recognise the clip as fake.”

However, in another vlog, Payal also revealed her decision to divorce Armaan Malik and relocate with her children, stating she has had enough of polygamy. She expressed that the negative attention directed at her children is both "shocking and disgusting".
