Deadpool & Wolverine BO Collection: Ryan, Hugh Starrer Surpasses ₹50 Crore Mark In Opening Weekend
Deadpool & Wolverine collected $205 million in the USA and $233 million overseas taking the total to $438 million. It is the all-time 8th-highest opening.

The Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer Deadpool & Wolverine opened to massive numbers at the India box office - ₹21 crore. The movie, which brings two of Marvel's beloved anti-heroes together, is raking money at the domestic box office, giving several Bollywood movies a run for their money. On the second day, the movie witnessed a 7.86 per cent spike in the collection with ₹12.6 crore in English. The movie was expected to witness a rise in the numbers on Sunday but instead saw a slight dip. Despite the low earnings, it surpassed ₹50 crore mark in the opening weekend in India.

Shawn Levy's directorial has minted ₹22.50 crore, per early estimates reported by Sacnilk. The language-wise breakdown is still awaited. Adding the three-day collection, the opening weekend total stands at ₹66.15 crore. Deadpool & Wolverine had an overall 45.78 per cent English (2D) occupancy on Sunday with the maximum reported in Chennai (80 per cent).
Talking about the worldwide opening weekend, the superhero comedy-drama collected $205 million in the USA and $233 million overseas for $438 million. Hence becoming the all-time 8th-highest opener.
Ryan Reynolds' thank you note to fans
Taking to his Instagram handle, Ryan penned a long note thanking his fans for showering their love on the movie. "This isn’t just Deadpool saying ‘Oh, Hello’ to the MCU. It’s Deadpool – and Hugh, Shawn and me – saying farewell to a place and an era that literally made us. We are forever grateful to the fun, weird, uneven and risky world of 20th Century Fox. It was our origin story and we wouldn’t trade it for anything. And thank you to Kevin Feige and Disney for allowing us to share it," read his caption.
Deadpool & Wolverine is the 34th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the sequel to Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018).
