Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Khel Khel Mein. Today, he joined his co-stars Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, Amy Virk and others at the trailer launch of the movie in Mumbai. During the event, a reporter asked Kumar about his movies not performing well at the box office despite having rich content. Well, the actor had a rather hilarious take to it and revealed that he often receives 'condolence type' messages whenever his movie doesn't perform well at the box office.

Akshay Kumar has been vocal about his box office failures. His last few movies such as Sarfira and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, didn't earn as expected. Earlier, he had revealed that it is "heartbreaking" to see any film fail, but one has to learn to see the silver lining.

However, this time, Akshay revealed that whenever his movies don't perform well his friends send him 'condolence type' messages saying "everything will be fine. You'll return". "Whatever happens, happens for good. I don't think so much, let me tell you, four-five films did not do well, such messages come, like sorry friend, I say don't worry, everything will be fine, I am not dead, I am not dead," she said.

"I get messages of condolence, one even wrote, brother don't worry and you will return. I called him and said, brother why are you writing this, back means where have I gone, I am here, will keep working, no matter what people say, I will always keep working, I have to get up in the morning, exercise, go to work and then come home, whatever I earn, I earn on my own, I have never asked for anything from anyone, I will keep shooting till my last breath," he added.

Earlier, in an interview with Forbes, the actor shared that every failure teaches the value of success and increases the hunger for it even further. " Luckily, I learnt to deal with it earlier on in my career. Of course, it hurts and impacts you, but that won't change the fate of the film," he added.

Meanwhile, Khel Khel Mein is a comedy drama which is set to hit the theatres on August 15, clashing with Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 and John Abraham's Vedaa.
