Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Review: Ajay Devgn and Tabu return on-screen for their tenth film together. The movie hit the big screens on August 2 alongside Janhvi Kapoor starrer Ulajh. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha opened to a lukewarm response at the box office and viewers who caught the early shows of the film took to their social media accounts to share their first reviews.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha opened to a dismal response at the box office. However, social media users who caught early shows of the Tabu-Ajay Devgn starrer took to their account to share their first reviews of the romantic-drama. While some raved about the chemistry of the leading stars, others pointed out that the movie did not offer anything new. 

A social media user shared photos from the movie theatre and wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Today, I watched #AuronMeinKahanDumTha. Among the veteran actors,  @hardikswagatt delivered an outstanding performance as Pakya. A New Talented actor in B-Town." Another user wrote, "#AMKDTReview - A Delightful Movie. First Half is decent But Second Half is literally Entertaining, Lots of Twist and turn, cameos was amazing, action is good, #AjayDevgn  intensity & chemistry with Tabu is 👌, overall Good family entertainer."
 

A user seemed to be impressed by the film and wrote, “#AuronMeinKahanDumTha  #review  Impactful.... Superb..... Unconventional love story @ajaydevgn sir Brilliant  @manojmuntashir sir superb lyrics “ Another viewer critiqued the plot of the film and called it ‘outdated' in a post that read, ”#AuronMeinKahanDumTha has its heart in the right place but the storytelling is boring. The plot itself is outdated. Ajay-Tabu chemistry remains underexplored while Shantanu impresses as young Krishna. Auron Mein Kya Dum Tha off to a slow start at the box office, as per experts 

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha marked Ajay Devgn's third release this year. The actor has previously featured in the supernatural horror film Shaitaan which did well at the box office. However, his subsequent release, Maidaan, failed to impress the audience as the film minted only ₹53.03 crore in India, as per Sacnilk, despite releasing on Eid. 
 

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is expected to witness an underwhelming start. The film has sold a little over 17,000 tickets amounting to ₹24.69 lakh, as per Sacnilk. Trade expert Sumit Kadel exclusively told Republic Digital that the Ajay Devgn ad Tabu starrer is eyeing an opening in the range of ₹2-3 crore. He shared, “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha will open in the vicinity of ₹2-3 cr nett. The film's advance booking is quite low and there’s a lack of interest amongst the audience for this film due to below average trailer and songs.” Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar.
