TNEA Counselling 2024 Registration Begins For B.Tech, B.Arch Admissions, Here's How To Register

New Delhi: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) Tamil Nadu has started the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024 counselling process today, July 22. Candidates can register till July 23 online at https://www.tneaonline.org/ . The counselling is for the special reserved category. General counselling will begin on July 29. 

“Choice filling is enabled for Govt.School(7.5%) Differently abled, Sports and Ex-Servicemen Category candidates, request you to login and follow the link provided to complete the choice filling on or before 5PM Today,” reads a statement on official website. 

This academic year, 441 engineering colleges are participating in single window TNEA counselling. A total of 1,99,868 candidates are eligible to register for counselling. 

The All India Council for Technical Education has sanctioned an intake of 2,32,376 seats for this year. Branches related to computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and machine learning, have seen a steep increase in seats whereas in core technology branches such as mechanical, civil and mechatronics, 2,965 seats have been cut down. A total of 390 seats have been reduced in architecture programme as well. 

How to register for TNEA Counselling 2024:

1. Visit tneaonline.org, the official TNEA website.
2. Navigate to the designated registration link for B.E/ B.Tech or B.Arch counselling.
3. Enter personal details and proceed with submission.
4. Complete the application form and payment process.
5. Download and retain the confirmation page for future reference.
